Gentle, Non-toxic HealingOf Cancer Is Not Only Possible

Aloha and thank you for joining me. I am KG Stiles a Mind Body Therapist and Health Educator with advanced certification and training. For more than 30 years I have facilitated healing for thousands of people suffering from personal trauma, injury and illness.

I have devoted my professional life to helping people transform their lives and experience new found levels of wholeness and freedom. My client success stories are widely publicized. Many of my published articles in the field of alternative health care, holistic health, aromatic medicine and essential oils are published on my website. I invite you to visit my website (see the link below) to learn more about me and my holistic health care services.

The natural breast health procedure I'm about to teach you was discovered by the late Mr. Tom Bowen of Perth, Australia during the mid-1900's. This gentle and noninvasive technique has been used successfully to promote natural breast health in thousands of women and men throughout the world.

This procedure is one of the most amazing hands-on healing techniques I have ever taught in my 30 years of practice as a health care educator. Through applying these few simple, yet powerful movements that take only seconds to perform I will show you how to stimulate your body's own natural healing mechanism to promote natural breast health.

With the advent of Mind Body Medicine current research shows that energetic blockage is the genesis for all physical problems and disease. These energetic blockages manifest as conditions of imbalance.

The Natural Breast Health Procedure is so powerful for promoting balance and stimulating blood, lymph and nerve supply and the release of toxins that it is not recommended for women with breast implants!

The Natural Breast Health Procedure can be used to help relieve: Breast tenderness, Uneven or lumpy breast tissue, Pre-menstrual tension and discomfort, Swelling and pain from breast surgery, Pectoralis muscle pain and Mastitis. It can also be used to stimulate and balance the production of milk in lactating women.

Before we begin I want you to take a few moments, right now, to appreciate your breasts. Give them your complete attention. Adore their shape, their form. Admire them, accept them, love them totally and vow to take quality care of them for ever more because by learning and performing this technique you will be doing just that.

Like all natural and precious works of art no two breasts are ever alike. In recognizing your breast's incomparable uniqueness you will be sending an important message to your body. Self love and acceptance are fundamental to good health.

Please join me in Part II of my Breast Health article to learn this powerful Bowen therapy procedure for promoting natural breast health.

Key Breast Health Tips For Every Stage of Your Life

Gentle, Non-toxic HealingOf Cancer Is Not Only Possible

Breast health is becoming increasingly important as more and more women risk developing breast cancer each year. Fortunately there are some informative breast health tips that you can follow to ensure that your breasts remain as healthy as possible throughout your lifetime. Some of these tips can help to catch breast cancer in the earliest stages, ensuring it can be treated quickly, some may even help to prevent breast cancer altogether.

Self Examine Your Breasts

One of the most useful breast health tips is to self examine your breasts at least one per month. This is a fairly easy process that can be done by yourself or a partner in the comfort of your home. Follow these simple steps to complete a breast exam of your own.

  1. Observe your breasts in the mirror as you stand with your hands at your side. Look for any bumps or variations in their normal shape.
  2. While standing place one hand behind your head, and begin to feel firmly around the breast with your fingertips. You can do this in a circular motion, an up and down motion, or in a wedge motion, but you need to remember to do it the same way each month.
  3. Squeeze the nipple of each breast. If you notice any discharge and you are not breastfeeding, report it to your doctor right away.
  4. Lie down and place a pillow behind your right shoulder. Extend your right arm behind your head and use your left hand to check your entire breast and arm pit area. Then reposition the pillow and do the same thing for your other breast.
  5. Report any abnormalities that you may encounter during your exam to your doctor right away.

Correct Breast Feeding

Using proper breast feeding techniques will not only make the whole process more enjoyable,
but it can lower your risk of developing breast cancer as well.

The following, useful breast health tips will help you understand how to correctly breast feed.

  1. To help eliminate enlargement of the breasts, breast feed more frequently and be sure to pump your breast milk if you ever miss a scheduled feed.
  2. Be sure to properly position the baby while breast feeding. Whether you choose the cradle, football, or side lying position, ensure that the baby is in the proper position.
  3. After each feeding apply lanolin oil to your breasts. This will help to prevent your breasts from cracking and drying out.
  4. Feed every one and a half to two hours in the first few months after your baby is born to keep your breasts from becoming engorged, and to discourage the formation of blocked milk ducts.

Breast Health during Menopause

During menopause you have a lot to worry about. To make matters worse, your
chance of developing breast cancer greatly increases during these years. However, there
are several breast health tips that you can follow to help reduce the rick of breast cancer.

  1. Arrange an annual mammogram screening.
  2. Regularly perform a breast self examine once per month
  3. Try to exercise daily and avoid gaining excess weight.
  4. Try to reduce your alcohol consumption or limit it within health guidelines.
  5. Be sure to get your daily dose of folic acid vitamin D.

At all stages of your life, no matter what age you are, it is important to take steps to keep your breasts healthy and cancer free. The breast health tips above are just a few of the ways that you can keep your breasts healthy. By investing a little time and discussing breast health with your doctor you can minimize any risks involved during the key times in your life.

In the modern world our quest for beauty is tireless. When you look in the mirror what do you see, what jumps out at you. Do you see pimples and wrinkles. Do you see clear glowing skin or sallow tired flesh and dull lank hair. Do you look at your naked body in wonder and think.... I like me.

Breast Cancer - What If You Have a Say in It?

It is amazing how discoveries, which are simple, do not make big news. If a pill which reduced breast cancer by one third was released it would be big news. There would be massive demand and the company, which made it, would see profits and the share price rocket.
There is of course no pill, which does this. The same effect can be achieved, by eating less, exercising more, and having only moderate alcohol intake. Regular exercise alone leads to a halving of lifetime risk of breast cancer. Does it really matter if the way to reduce your chance of getting breast cancer by one third is by taking a tablet or doing other simple things? Apparently it does.
Whilst this finding, which came from The University of Milan, made some news-wires it was hardly the front-page story that the release of a pill would be. Why is this? In my opinion there are two reasons.
Firstly we have become conditioned to look for technological solutions rather than simple ones. In the long and thus far unsuccessful "war" on cancer hundreds of billions of dollars have been spent looking for new breakthroughs. If the solution is something we sort of knew all along and is not a "breakthrough" then people tend to switch off. We also tend to think, "it can not be that simple". When answers are obvious or right in front of us we tend to be dismissive, as we have become conditioned to look for the complex.
There is a second reason and this highlighted in some of the reaction to this. A spokesperson for a British cancer charity said their agency was very careful about issuing similar lifestyle advice. Ian Manley from Breast Cancer Care told Fox News "We would never want women to feel responsible for their breast cancer".
How exactly does this help women? If there are things that they are doing which makes it more likely they get cancer then surely taking responsibility and doing something different would be the way to go. We are not talking force fields which mean you can not possibly get cancer but a one third reduction in risk is certainly worthwhile. Many in the health arena are paranoid about what is called "blaming the victim". This essentially portrays anyone who has disease as an innocent bystander who is totally helpless and has been struck at random by forces completely beyond their control.
What about if we rephrase this as, "the actions of an individual lead to certain consequences". Hence if by eating certain foods, being overweight and not exercising you have significantly increased your chances of getting cancer then those are choices you have made and cancer may be one of the consequences.
To use an analogy, if you stand in the middle of a freeway your chances of getting hit by a car are much greater than if you stand on the sidewalk. On the road the cars may avoid you and it is possible to be hit by a car, which leaves the road and hits you on the sidewalk. However you know where the odds of getting hit are greater. If you deliberately do certain things which increase your chances of getting cancer (or any disease) then it not really a random action beyond your control if that disease eventuates.
The great thing about being responsible for your health is that it puts you in charge. You can make the changes and in turn change your odds of "getting hit". It is a no brainer to walk on the sidewalk rather than down the middle of the road. Doing regular exercise, maintaining a healthy weight, eating mainly "real" rather than processed food and moderating alcohol intake are collectively the same no brainer when it comes to breast cancer.

Of Cancer Is Not Only Possible

It was three years ago my best friend's mother lay peacefully asleep under her duvet cover set next to her husband of almost twenty years. At about five in the morning one lazy Sunday afternoon her husband woke her up in a fluster, she pulled back the duvet covers from her face and sat up to see what the problem was. He rubbed his chest and said that he thought he felt a lump there. She checked for him but, she told him it was probably nothing. After a couple of months the lump would appear visible from a distance but, since most people think that only women can get breast cancer they only thought that a was something that was caused from over working the body at work. Two years later my friends father died from breast cancer.
I have known this friend all my life and spent more time at his house than my own. To me he is like a brother and his parents are like a second family. When news of his father's condition reached me it hit hard for both of us. I remember feeling as though life as I knew it had all but ended and that the world would never again be the same. This feeling is something that I would not wish on my worst enemy and I hope no one else will have to go through. My friends father would have had a chance for survival if he would have known what it was. Before we can move forward we must educate ourselves and then spread the word to the world. This fight has gone on for too long if you know how this feels than tell someone spread the word and educate people, if more people know than more people will care that something changes. Although the victims can no longer speak it is up to the families of the victims to be strong, talk about it, walk for it, and donate to it to make sure that in time we will find a cure. It is up to us to make a better tomorrow today.
Or how about the duvet set The beautiful vibrant colors mixed with the silk threading makes for a bed that welcomes you with arms wide open. So come to Multi Shop Stop to find duvet covers that will take your breath away

Breast Cancer - Common Risk Factors
By P.S. Orr Platinum Quality Author

Gentle, Non-toxic HealingOf Cancer Is Not Only Possible

Risk factors are health concerns or issues that increase the likelihood that you may develop a particular illness. Cancer is a disease that is varied in terms of risk factors and each different kind of cancer carries it's own unique criterion of risk. Some risk factors are inherited and cannot be controlled while some are caused by our behavior and lifestyle choices.

The risk factors for breast cancer change as a person ages. This kind of cancer is most likely to strike women, although men too, can develop it. As you age, your risk increases as well and invasive forms of the disease are more common in women over the age of 55.

Breast cancer that has a hereditary origin has been found to have a genetic component and these mutations are most often found in women of Eastern European ethnicity. The risk is also increased based on the number of blood relatives who have had this type of cancer.

Women who have previously had the disease are at higher risk of it recurring. Additionally, women who have dense breast tissue and certain types of breast lesions also have a higher risk. Other risk factors include exposure to radiation, DES exposure (a drug used to prevent miscarriages), early onset of menstruation and late onset of menopause.

Among the behaviors that can be controlled to some extent that increase risk of breast cancer are the use of hormone replacement therapy, recent use (within the previous 10 years) of birth control pills and not having children. Obesity, excessive alcohol consumption, unhealthy eating and lack of physical activity also increase your risk of breast cancer.

Several other factors, such as night shift work and exposure to secondhand smoke have been suggested as possibly increasing the risk of breast cancer, however more research is needed before a determination is made. Keep in mind that a risk factor is simply an increased likelihood and not a confirmation that someone will develop breast cancer.

Breast Cancer - Diagnosed at 32, My Story Part 3 - Recovery
By Sherri Haggard

Gentle, Non-toxic HealingOf Cancer Is Not Only Possible

In my previous articles, I discussed how I discovered the cancer, my initial treatments, and the chemo. Now, I will discuss how it all came to an end. It was a yearlong battle, and now I can look back and say what really happened.
Follow Up Visits Galore
You would think that after all the surgeries and chemo, I would be done. However, this was not the case. My reconstruction doctor alone wanted to see me every few days then every few weeks. I had to do exercises to make sure the reconstruction went right. It was time consuming and very demanding.
After Chemo Drugs
There are two main drugs given to women after breast cancer, Tamoxifen and Arimidex. I started off on Arimidex because years earlier I had a hysterectomy. However, I needed to get a bone scan because Arimidex could cause bone loss leading to osteoporosis. Turns out, I have severe osteoporosis and I was only 33! (I had a birthday since my original breast cancer diagnosis at 32.)
The oncologist switched me to Tamoxifen but couldn't take that either. It turns out it made my heart race. This meant no after chemo drugs for me.
I Quit
Against all the medical advice, I got tired of seeing doctors. I could not handle seeing another doctor one more time. So a little over a year since my original diagnosis, I quit seeing doctors. That was about 8 months ago.
Some question how I will know if the cancer comes back. Others ask me if I am concerned. Frankly, at this point, I do not care. If my cancer were to come back, it would automatically be stage 4. It would mean that it had metastasized and spread somewhere else.
I am now 34 years old and I know that I cannot do that again. If I get cancer again, so be it. I am not going to spend my life wondering if it will come back. I am not going to waste time going to doctors. It is my choice. It is not a popular choice and it is not a recommended choice. It is, however, my choice.
Final Thoughts
To anyone going through breast cancer, you will get through the treatment and your life will return.
To all those that know someone going through treatment, be patient. Remember, that after it was all over I felt bad about what I had said and done. My aunt, who was diagnosed two days before me, felt the same way. She got mad at my mom and did not speak to her through the whole treatment. After it was all over and she was back to normal, she called my mom.
When we go through this, it affects our heart, our mind, and our emotions. Please ride out the storm and wait for us on the other side.

I remember learning Anatomy and Physiology when I was studying to become a Registered Nurse. wanted a more thorough understanding of the lymphatic system and felt what we learned was limited. Conventional medicine didn't pay much attention to the importance of the lymphatic system for one's health. I wonder... has this changed?
Lymphatic fluid circulates in tiny vessels similar to veins throughout the body. The fluid (or lymph) is clear, or slightly yellowish, and watery. It comes from the tissues of the body. Lymph helps remove bacteria and carries cells that help fight infection and disease. It's an important part of the immune system.
Lymphatic fluid doesn't circulate well without our help. It doesn't have a pump to move it like the our blood vessels have the heart. Movement of the body is the only way to move lymph. Without regular movement the lymph can become stagnant. Also, tight clothing, such as bras, can press on the vessels and restrict the flow.
This is very abundant in the breast area. There are many lymph nodes under the armpit. These clusters of tissue help protect the body from foreign organisms and cancer cells. Mobilization of lymph can help prevent breast congestion and maybe even cancers. Women often intentionally restrict the movement of their breasts, which is not healthy. Daily self-care should include breast movement. It can be as simple as moving your bra's shoulder strap-up and down. It's common sense.
Cheryl Chapman is a dear friend and holistic nursing colleague. She is also a well-known massage therapist and a breast care advocate. "Phluffing Your Girls" is an adorable expression she coined for this process She recommends moving your breasts like you are fluffing a pillow with your hands.
Here are some of the benefits:
--Reduce breast congestion --Soften breasts --Decrease lumps and cysts from fibrocystic breasts --Move lymph --Bring T-Cells to protect the breasts --Reduce breast tenderness during pregnancy --Enhance breastfeeding --Easier to do a self breast exam --Maintain healthy breast tissue
